Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The actress was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading role in several dramas on television. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra's professional career has included work on a number of notable international and national projects. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon as well as other miniseries. She was also a member of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
